Businiess name:  Garland's Garden Ctr
Review by:  Sarah A.
Review content:
I'm an avid gardener, but as I grew up north of Baltimore, I wasn't familiar with any garden center other than Valley View Farms. But one of the great things about living in Catonsville is the selection of small businesses that are as good as any in the metro area. Garland's is better than even that. If you like flowers or vegetables or shrubs or trees, bypass the generic and boring selections at Home Depot and Wal Mart and Lowes and come down the street to Garlands. Here you'll find an amazing selection of plants--gorgeous bedding plants you can't find anywhere else but the internet, odd herbs (my favorite this year is curry; it's not the same as the blend of spices that make up the curry you eat, but it smells EXACTLY like it), an enormous selection of vegetables. I haven't yet had to purchase new trees or shrubs for my home, but you can bet that as soon as I do, I'll go right to Garland's. The other thing I like is the service--these people know their plants and are happy to help.
