CFA, as it is affectionately known on my scrapping list, is the store you want to visit here in Tucson. The owners, Dorothy and Gary, are nice, friendly and helpful. They are almost always there and will point you in the right direction if you are looking for something in particular. CFA has scrapping nights, day classes on various stamping and scrapping projects, a nice scrapping area with all the equipment and supplies you could want, a video and book library for you to use, a wall of stamps to borrow.............And much more. The classes are fun and present some of the latest techniques. This store also has a small, kid friendly scrapping room in the back. It is supplied with a video player and toys for the kids. It feels a bit isolated back there, but Mom's can take the kids and still get some scrapping done! The selection of materials is up to date and diverse. They carry stamping supplies as well as scrapping items, so there is a nice variety. The parking lot can be a bit busy (it is near a Wally-mart), so be careful!! There are a couple of restaurants nearby in case you get hungry during a scrapping marathon. :-) I really like this store. As I said in another review, when it comes to local businesses, I will support those that appreciate their customers. Dorothy and Gary do. I will drive clean across town (I'm near 22nd & Wilmot!!! This store is near the Tucson Mall!! ) to give these folks my scrapping dollar because they value me as a customer. There have been a few *glitches* .........last time I was there, they still did not have their e-mail list up and running. They tend to be busy at times and don't always have quite enough staff. They have a "card" stamp program, but tend not to advertise that they have it. I am not *enrolled* because I didn't know about it!!! So, be sure to ask everytime you are in , it is not volunteered. (I personally think this is a problem that should be addressed and fixed!) These are small problems compared to the friendly atmosphere of this nice, comfortable store. Hope to see you some Friday night at CFA!!
