My niece is a patient here, she has mental disabilities and is not able to make the right choices for herself. She lives with her mother who just takes her check and will not try to get help for her. I called to give some information to this facility and see if they could do something to help her and was told that they couldn't discuss my niece's case with me without her permission, I didn't need information from them I was trying to give them information about their patient. She is in jail and that is not where she needs to be; she needs help. But they don't care, I guess it's a joke to them. I was told that they would take it under advisement, I don't believe that. There are people with mental disabilities out here that need help. Georgia has a long standing reputation for neglecting and abusing their citizens with mental disabilities.
