Review content:
When the University Club closed many members were forced to move to the Downtown Met. Both are owned by the same parent company but are run entirely different. At the Downtown Met the employees could care less about service and making the clients happy. The tennis director has a real attitude and is alway rude to you when you come to him for help. The tennis courts are always dirty, no one cleans the trash cans, or the lint off the courts. They often will bump you from your reserved court just because they want to. There is no water on the courts, there are very few activities for the members, no tennis mixers or group gatherings. The food is horrible here. The buffet upstairs I have eaten several times is awful, no gourmet cooking here. The downstairs snack bar is closed on the weekends so there is little to no food, except cold candy bars or prewrapped salads. The general manager of the three downtown clubs is sorely lacking in management skills. The quality is nothing like the University Club which sadly had to close. The spa here is dreadful, managed by ' teenagers"" who blast loud music and dont even greet you when you come in, not to mention the spa techs are late for their appointments, not from other appointments but just getting up late and arriving late to work. A sad club indeed. Cons: staff doesnt care or is rude, not clean, poor food,
