Review content:
Bait and Switch is still practiced at Texas Nissan of Grapevine. My experience sounds exactly like the other experiences written about here. It is common knowledge that only a very small percentage will post a review like this so this has probably happened to many hundreds of people. Please do not be their next victim. Hit them where they live... in the pocket book and take your business elsewhere. Surely there are some good dealerships out there willing to do business in an ethical manner. I probably should call Brett Shipp at channel 8 and let him do an investigative report on these bottom feeders, but for now this review will have to do. Here is a post I made on Facebook to all of my friends about my experience with the folks over at Texas Nissan of Grapevine. I then sent an email to Johnny Cantrell, the owner of Texas Nissan of Grapevine along with the Facebook post. Dear Mr. Cantrell, This is a post I made on my Facebook page to almost 200 of my friends. If I can keep just one of them from buying a car from your dealership I will be happy. Sincerely, Mike I want to let all my Facebook friends know of the underhanded treatment Grace and I received from Texas Nissan in Grapevine, Texas. The Bait and Switch sales tactic is alive and well at this dealership under the ownership and leadership of Johnny Cantrell. I was told in four different communications within a two hour span this evening, from the sales personnel that a certain car was available. We even made an appointment to go see the car. Grace and I drove to the Grapevine dealership, braving rush hour traffic and the horrible road construction going on in the area. Upon arrival we were told the SUV we came to see was no longer on the lot, (it had either been sold or taken to auction within a two hour window of time) but that they had a 2010 model we should consider, though at a much higher price. As the old saying goes, fool me once shame on me, fool me four times, shame on you Texas Nissan, Johnny Cantrell, Miguel, Jay and all the management team at Texas Nissan. I thought you guys were better than these kinds of sleaze ball sales tactics. Boy was I wrong. There is more communications, but space does not permit me to share them all. I wish I would have read the reviews on Yelp before we made the drive to Texas Nissan of Grapevine, I will before I visit another car dealership. I hope this review helps anyone thinking of ever visiting Texas Nissan of Grapevine. If I could give them negative stars I would. They don't even rate 0 stars.
