I'd have to say that I have been disappointed in the school. The principle doesn't seem to take a stand with the teachers and the information taught in the classroom is way below average. For example my second grader is bringing home tracings of the letter b. I thought that was done in kindergarten. My sixth grader is bringing home coloring book pictures of King Tut and calling it her art project. She is still working on her times tables. My kids get good grades but who wouldn't when that is what is being taught. More parents need to come into the classrooms and see what is going on rather then assume that everything is going well. Having moved from a school when my son was in fourth grade I've seen what is being done at other schools and this has been by far the worst one we have attended. In fact I am highly considering moving them to another school such as Bates.
