Review content:
Alright I will make this short... well at least as short as I can. It all started about 2 1/2 years ago shortly after buying my house. It was winter time and I needed to switch over from cooling to heating, well only if it was that easy. I noticed that the air blowing out of the vents was cold, so I called the number on my thermostat downstairs which was jim proffits heat and air. They come out and supposedly fix my problem, or at least I thought. This was my first house so I did not know what to expect for electric bills, my bills averaged 250 dollars a month to heat a 963 square foot house. Come spring it was time to switch back over to cooling, I did and that's when the real problems started. I noticed one day that the air coming from the vents was warm so I called the company again, they sent someone out and this is when the real headache started... about 12-17 visits later they thought that the unit was bad so they replaced it, 10 minutes after the unit was installed it was blowing hot air again so I called him (Jim after working with his crew a dozen or so times) he said ""Turn it off I know what the problem is I will be there in the morning. He comes in the morning and plays with a couple of wires in the air handler and I will be damned the freaking thing started blowing cold air, come to find out that one of his employees somehow caused the units emergency heat to be on 24/7 resulting in me consuming 3kw/h for the last 9 months. So they replaced the unit and everything seemed to be fine until next spring when my unit was freezing up again, they came out, recharged the unit, charged me for recharging a unit that was installed less than a year ago, and now the freaking thing is freezing up yet again... Please listen to me DO NOT USE this company, I have another company coming out on monday to check for any leaks and to recharge the unit. Cons: everything
