Review content:
We visited Jack's Bistro tonight on the recommendation of a local. We were greeted with smiles, and although they were very busy, our many questions about the very eclectic menu were answered patiently by a charismatic and informative waiter who was as eager to serve the food as we were to try it! We had a perfect version of steak tartare, and a slider which was a pure bacon patty! The prices are a steal, especially for the standout sous vide dishes. Try the duck duo or the sous vide fish dishes. The desserts are homemade, and the citris sabayon is accompanied with fresh basil syrup that they actually grown in a garden on the roof of the building. Warning: the places is small and reminded us of our favorite Manhattan restaurants, but we can't wait to tell all our friends when we get home, about Jack's Bistro. Quite a gem on a quiet little street in Baltimore.
