The practice tends to be very fast paced. I have only had the chance to meet with the physician assistant or nurse during appointments because the doctors time is filled well in advance.
Everyone is very friendly, especially the staff. They are very accepting of last minute appointments if you don't mind a wait.

Noah’s Ark Vet Hospital has some of the most caring staff around. You should always ask for Dr. Margaret Edwards. The other doc is kind of pompous, to be honest. Dr. Edwards is down to earth and knows what she is doing. Plus, all of the vet assistant staff are really great. My bulldog has become famous there and they all come rushing to see him when we come in. When he had to have eye surgery, instead of locking him up in a cage to recover, when we came to get him, we found him asleep at Dr. Edwards’ feet while she did paperwork. Everyone here seems to genuinely care about our dog, even the one vet we don’t care for. We've never had a problem getting an appointment quickly. They aren’t exactly a discount vet, but we’ve found very few that are around here. Parking is ok, as they are in a strip-mall area.

Cary Veterinary is located right next to the Dorcas Thrift Shop (one of the best in the area) on Maynard Rd in Cary. They have a spacious waiting room and very clean exam rooms. Our dog was always treated very well here. They seem to have a number of vets working for them, and we ended up switching to another vet because we always seemed to get a different vet every time we went. In their defense, all the vets were always very nice and seemed to know what they were doing, but we really wanted a vet to ourself. If you don’t mind getting different vets, this would be a good fit for you. Their prices are comparable to other vets in the area (kind of expensive!). Parking is ample.

Dr. Niles - Dentist - Take your teeth elsewhere!

More
I went to Dr. Niles because he advertises as being a gentle family dentist, and plus he was close by. I had a great dentist growing up, and, well, needless to say, I will glady travel the 500 miles to go back to him every year during my family visit. Dr. Niles’ office is small and old. He has religious books out in the waiting room, so if you’re offended by that, go elsewhere. He has a couple of very small, old rooms that may remind you of an old small-town dentist. He did my cleaning instead of the hygienist the first time I went and it hurt very badly. I was bleeding everywhere. He kept gouging my gums with the pick thingy. I had tears streaming down my face. This NEVER once happened at my old dentist. My husband was watching, white as a ghost. I had to go back for a filling and I didn’t think that would be as bad. Wrong! I told him I was petrified of needles and that I didn’t want to even see the needle before he numbed me. Not only did he show me the needle and say “this won’t be bad” but I felt like my mouth was on fire as it went in. I nearly passed out. My old dentist would do it so gently that I didn’t even really know when it was in. Then, when he started, it became clear that he didn’t really like the assistant and snapped at her several times while I was there which made me very uncomfortable. He was pretty rough and the part of my mouth that wasn’t numb got jabbed several times with instruments and my teeth all around felt like someone punched them. After 48 hours, my mouth still hurt a lot, especially when I chewed, and so I went back. He ground down the filling more, saying I must be really sensitive or something. However, the pain has never really gone away, and I’ve since found out that it is the tooth next to the filling where the pain is coming from. Prior to him working on my mouth, I had no pain, so I’m guessing that it must have been injured when he filled my other tooth. I will be going back to my old dentist to have him take care of this new problem, that’s for sure!

More
I’ve been a client with Cary Healthcare Associates for about 2 years. My primary care doctor there is Ken Lake, a physician’s assistant. He was recommended by a friend, and I would in turn recommend him to everyone. He took almost an entire hour to get to know my husband and I at our first appointment. He addressed everything, from physical to mental wellbeing. He took a lot of time to listen to us, which is a big change from many other doctors. Ken used to be a PA in the Army and now he is in practice here in Cary and often has “P.A.’s in training” tagging along with him. If I were a PA intern, I would want him to be my trainer! He has never made me feel uncomfortable and doesn’t hesitate to refer me to a specialist if I need one. They have someone right in-house that will help you make any referral appointments. The only drawback is that he doesn’t work long hours, so you may be seen by someone else (all very competent and nice) if you need an appointment outside of his regular hours.

More
Dr. Pritchett, the only doctor at Cary Digestive Disease, has always treated me very nicely every time I’ve come in. His office looks very old fashioned on the inside, with paneling and 70’s décor. However, the nurse on staff is sweet and Dr. Pritchett has seen everything so you don’t have to worry about anything. He is very soft spoken and gentle, and I’ve seen him be very nice to people you might consider quite annoying, so I would certainly recommend him. He is affiliated with both Rex and WakeMed, so if you need a procedure done, he will do it there and won’t have to refer you out. The best thing I can say is that he answered his business phone on a Sunday when I was very sick and needed a different medication. Need I say more?

I was a little fearful of getting a massage for the first time and after making an appointment with Russo Massage Therapy, Gail made me feel comfortable about getting a professional massage. She explains everything in detail, and makes it a goal to understand your needs before performing her services. Massage Therapy is about healing. I now know that each part of your body has trigger points that are used to heal your pain.
I truly believe that natural therapy such as massage therapy is the best way to stay healthy and relaxed in our Everday, Stressful lives. I have never felt better physically. Regular massages is not a luxury for me, It is a necessity to maintain good health & well being. If you are in constant back pain, or have tension, I would highly recommend Russo Massage Therapy of Cary.

I needed some work done on my neck and shoulders about 6 month ago. I saw their ad in the yellow pages the other day and decided to call them. I didn't have any problem with getting an appointment the same day. I arrived a little early to fill out some paperwork and found that the music and the decor helped me to relax right away. And therapist was fantastic. She not only went really deep, but she was also very gentle and concerned about my comfort level. She also gave me stretches and exercises to do to loosen up my neck and shoulder. I'm impressed and will be sure to drop in again whenever I get back this way again.
