Leslie Shaw's law office is HORRIBLE. I can not say anything about her personally, because I never met her in the year that I had her as my attorney. I was not allowed to meet her, the one opportunity I had scheduled she went home to see her husband, I sat in a hot little office room for two hours, even after I asked for water, no one told me she had left. As an injured person, the worker's comp system is difficult enough. Ms. Shaw's office made the whole thing much more stressful. The receptionist would ask who is calling before telling me no one was there, I left messages and would never get a call back. After numerous times asking how to get in contact with my attorney I was told to e-mail. I did, using both the e-mail given to me by the receptionist and the one printed on her card. Still no response. Even after firing the office and getting a new attorney, my case is held up because her office will not release my files! After calls to her office to ask that they release them, I finally get a letter stating that no one has asked for them and blaming me for some very obscene language that was never said by me. I am not sure if it how Ms. Shaw runs her practice or if the woman that answers the phone has personal issues, but if you don't want added stress while trying to recover, avoid this office at all costs!
