Businiess name:  Superior Pool Svc Inc

Review content:
Based on strong recommendations, we engaged Superior Pool Service (Superior) to renovate and re-plaster our pool. The plastering job included a 2-year warranty but was expected to last seven years or more with proper maintenance. Within three years of completion, the plaster began to crack. Superior couldn’t explain the expanding cracks in the plaster but was willing to attempt repairs at our cost and without diving into the pool to determine the extent of the damage. (Superior was unwilling to bear even a portion of the expense of repairs.) Since the pool has been very well maintained, we paid another pool company to enter the pool and inspect the plaster. That company found that the plaster had been applied without being properly bonded and as a result had begun to crack. We also learned that there is no assurance the cracks can be fixed and that the safest option is to re-plaster the pool. We are very dissatisfied with Superior’s work and do not recommend using its services.
