I was a bit skeptical when I first considered the idea of finding babysitters or tutors online. However, last summer I used Care.com to find a tutor for my children. I found one of the best tutors that my children ever had. Since then I've mentioned Care.com to my friends and find that they're having success with Care.com as well. There's no substitute for interviewing and carefully selecting a care provider, but Care.com is a great resource with lots of qualified candidates to get started.
