the pines of rome is the best italian food in montgomery county. they have awesome white pizza and all their food is good. the pines of rome is one of my favorite restaurants to go to! they also have great fettucine alfreado and all their prices are not too expensive. the pines of rome has a great atmosphere with nice decorations and the wait staff are really nice. i have never ordered a bad meal at the pines of rome and you cant go wrong with any of their food. they have such nice original food that tastes like you are in italy. i highly recommend this restaurant.

ri ra has really good food, and i like to order the sausages when i go there. they are more expensive than a regular bar/ pub but the are a little more fancy. they have a nice atmosphere with a cool irish band playing and the aforementioned quiz night. i dont go to ri ra that much because it is more expensive than the usual bar food, an average entree costs 13$, but when i go i like it there. i would rather go to rock botttom brewery though becuase they have a bigger and better menu. overall ri ra is a nice place to go to if you arent cash strapped and want something a little nicer than a regular bar.

on the border has a large menu selection and i have never been disappointed with something that i have order there. i like there nachos and fajitas. they have everything from tacos, to nachos, to fajitas, to chile rellenos, to . i have had trouble finding a good mexican or tex mex restaurant around this area and this is the 2nd best that i have found. the only one that i think is better is guapos. i also forgot to mention that they have very very good chips and salsa, especiialy the salsa and it is free when you sit down. i would definately recommend on the border to someone who is searching for a good mexican restaurant.

sports authority has the biggest selection of every sport you can imagine. they have basketball, baseball, golf, ping pong, tennis, soccer, snowboarding, hunting, paintballing, all kinds of athletic shoes, weights, and alot more. they have many coupons that come out too for 25 percent off and they have a low price guarantee policy where if another store has a lower price, they will match it by 110 percent. the store is located right off of rockville picke and you cant miss it. without doing the low price guarantee, they have a tiny bit higher prices and you have to be careful becuase they mark almost everything in the store as "on sale" when it really is just regular price or they will take an item, then mark up the price and then say they are giving a one day 35 percent off. sports authority has everything sporting goods that i need and i recommend going there next time you need a sports item.

sligo golf course is a nice short golf course. all the par 4's are under 300 yards except the 430 yard par 4 ninth hole. it is a par 34, and even though it is really short, it is really hard to break par. the fairways are not very open and almost immediately after the fairway there are trees with pine straw underneath. you have to hit the ball straight to play well at sligo creek. the golf course is a short distance away from holy cross hospital right near downtown silver spring. there is a large group of regulars there that play 3 times a week and are most are very nice. the greens fees are 18 dollars during summer weekends and the junior rate is 11 dollars but only during the week. the course is in great shape and i love playing at sligo.

i loved this golf course!! this course is by far the nicest public course in montgomery county!! they have a really nice and tough layout with nicely designed holes. the par 4's and 5's are long but they have really open and fair fairways to hit into. the greens are very undulated with lots of tricky putts. this is a great golf course for a mid to low handicapper. they have a great driving range and a huge practice putting green. there are two courses, a 18 hole course that is long and hard and then a 9 hole course that they call the inside nine. the inside nine is much much easier and is perfect for high handicappers that want a shorter course. i really enjoyed golfing at northwest park and i highly recommend it.

this shop was a pleasant suprise. i expected it to be very small with almost no selection but i was wrong. they had a huge selection with all the brand names in clubs and accessories. they had a turf putting green to test out the hundred or so putters that they had. they had all kinds of golf bags and clubs and they even regripped my sand wedge. they had decent prices and very nice, and knowledgable sales people. i really enjoyed going there becuase everybody that worked there knew so much about golf and golf equipment.

when i played here during this past summer(august of 2005) the course was in horrible condition and it played terrible. first of all there is no rough and what was supposed to be rough, was just a tall as the fairways. there was not a patch of green in sight and all the "rough", fairways, and greens were totally yellow. the course is not long at all, and it actually seemed to play shorter than sligo creek which is known as the shortest course around. there were no challenging shots and no water to play over, at least on the front nine which was what i played. i absolutely d this course.

this was the nicest driving range and mini golf center around but unfortunately they just tore it down to make way for apartment buildings. this was a really great place to play mini golf with your family or hit some range balls and practice putting. they had a bunker and a ton of mats to hit range balls. they had a nice pro shop with a lot of clubs that you could demo for free. i really miss this place. the point in me writing this review is to save some one a trip down there becuase i drove 30 minutes in traffic to get there to see it had been demolished over night.

right now this washington golf store is temporarily closed for renovations but they will be open again soon, and they have a great selection. they have all the brand name clubs(titleist, taylormade, cleveland, nike, cobra, and callaway) and they have all the accessories. the store is located right in downtown bethesda, and is right next to the trader joes in a large shopping center with lots of parking. they have better prices for accessories than ls which is right down the street, and l's dosnt carry many good clubs so i highly reccomend going to washington golf center over l's and other golf shops.
