I'm no stranger to great breakfast food, but this place rises above anywhere I have ever been. Been there twice now. The biscuits and gravy, bacon, giant eggs, potatoes - can't find the words to describe how great the food is! If you are anywhere at all near the area do whatever you have to do to go. Better breakfast food would be hard to imagine. If I was wealthy I'd buy the place and move it, along with the cooks, back to Ohio. A+
Pros: Food, service
Cons: None

Well yeah the pizza is awesome, but its Tony and his wife that draw me back there...true NY attitudes in real-time. And if your lucky, Tony will offer you one of his cherished Italian Kisses. Thanks Tony!

This place lives up to its NY expectations. I'm from NY and typically can not be pleased somewhere other than NY for pizza. Normally some stuff is OK, but not great. This place, however, is quite the exception. It feels like you fell out of Seattle and into NY for a while. The drive from downtown Seattle is about a half hour but totally worth it. The pizza actually seems like it is from NY. They also have White Ricotta Pizza--a tri-state area specialty.
Additionally for the "whacky points," a man with a parrot walked in in the middle and he knew the owners so the owners gave him some pizza---which was quite a site---a parrot who ate pizza.
If you are impatient, it is VERY important to order ahead of time (over the phone). The whole enterprise is run by one woman and her husband so it can be pretty slow if you are impatient. The owners are a bit kurt sometimes (reminding NYers of the East Coast and the Soup Chef from Seinfeld perhaps? ), but they seemed pretty reasonably as long as you didn't complain about the speed.
The toppings are pretty simple since it really is a 1 or 2 person show, but they do the job. Also there are plenty of subs and pasta that I didn't get to try.
Pros: Great pizza, whacky atmosphere, feels like you fell into NY
Cons: fairly slow, not much seating

I love to go to Chuck's and get their deep fried calamari. You can sit down at a picnic table and watch all the people go antique hunting at the shops. The price is not bad for seafood, the taste is great!

We have enjoyed Mrs. Pennycook's wonderful scones, tea and beautiful hand-crafted cakes many times. The service has been exemplary and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. When my little girl turned five, there was no other place we would rather have held her birthday party than Mrs. Pennycook's. We brought a dozen or more little girls in dresses, and they were treated like princesses (even when they did not exactly use their princess manners!)
We now live about an hour away, and I am considering making the drive to Snohomish once again for little sister's fifth birthday. There is no comparison!

I love shrimp dishes and this restaurant has one of my favorites: Camarones al Mojo de ajo. I have had this dish at several restaurants, but it was one of the best in terms of how it was prepared here. The service was also very terrific. A great place to eat!

I got married last August and we held our reception here. It was an excellent location. They catered the event and people are still commenting on how good the food was at our reception. It is a beautiful locale with lots of perfect places to take wedding photos. Not much decoration was needed - just a few flowers. The building and grounds are beautiful. We had between 150-200 guests and there was room for everyone. There was even still room for the band and the dance floor. The prices are reasonable for the great service that you get. They take care of everything. It was nice to not have to worry about all the little details of having a reception. The only drawback was that it takes a while to get out there. But it is easy to find. We were very pleased with the Country Club. No complaints about the job that they did.

We went here after Flower World (a great nursery by the way) and before our ride back to Seattle. The plan was to have lunch at Maltby Cafe, but there was a long wait.
So we tried next door and were glad we did. The pizza was excellent. Service was good to despite there being only one wait person.
Pros: good food, friendly service

We frequent this often and our entire family of 5 count it their favorite. It has great food and the ambiance is fabulous. The fish and chips can't be beat and it's nice to have the same waitress or waiter every time we come. It's been over 4 years and we still see the same people. It's worth the price. My guess is that those that rated it poorly can't afford the restaurant.
