Northwest Bible Church 8/16/2005

Northwest is a good church, though it is primarily aimed at a younger generation. The services are all different--the first is pretty traditional, the second is more contemporary, and the third is very contemporary. The pastor actually wears fancier clothes to the first service and then dresses down for the next ones! There is a Sunday School for the elderly called "Three Score or More" (over 60 years old). However, the Sunday School in Middle School and High School are not good. If you are looking for something more than fun and games, I have seen many people switch to Park Cities Presbyterian Church. It is both fun and very lesson-oriented. The theology of this church is pretty much based only on the Bible, not other more defining catechisms or the like. But, they are more Dispensational (like Dallas Theological Seminary, where most of the church leaders attended school) than they are Reformed. It is a great place for singles, but not bigger families with children, especially older ones. more
