My Boyfriend and I recently went on a Friday night to Shaker Bowl to pick up his fourteen year old daughter. They have neon bowling balls that glow under black light and a DJ we were told. It sounded like a safe place for her and her friends to hang out together. Whenever we pulled up and went inside I was shocked. They place is all dark (due to the black lights) and the place looked like a meat market for young teens. Bowling was definitely not the main attraction here. Girls were dirty dancing with each other and there were young teens hanging outside smoking. This is my experience and opinion, but I would recommend checking the place out before letting your teen go.
