I think some of the other reviewers need to lighten up a bit on this place. I use to be a regular with my friends and we would do karaoke once (sometimes twice) a week. On the drink side -its not great but they do have good prices and the bartender is sweet and hardworking. The DJ that use to be there, Skip, was perfect and made the whole experience fun. So, I would definitely recommend Ego's for anyone who wants to karaoke without feeling embarrassed. I have an awful voice, but usually the crowd sings along and laughs with you not at you.
