Extraordinary Desserts makes me wish I lived in San Diego. the menu is ever changing with inventive desserts from lemon creme brulee to fruit tarts. Everything is decadent and takes you to Paris. The owner Karen also teaches classes ""kitchen secrets"" to a select few on the email distribution list. I will make special trips to SD to go here & it is a requirement if i happen to be in SD! The decor is open & urban like a loft with a long bar. They have a large variety of teas & now have a large retail counter to buy some of the special hard to find products to take home. Its by the gas lamp district so there is always a great corwd. Although if you go on a saturday night, you may need to wait 45m for a table, yes for dessert.
