It all started well enough with a semi friendly hello. We brought in 2 watches that we had carefully picked out from our favorite British watch store in Toronto. Both needed batteries and one needed a simple pin repair. We were quoted $28 for the one watch and then were asked if it was worth it to us. We said we were fine since we love the watch and it was worth $250. This is where it gets really ugly. He kept asking us how this watch could be worth that much. He went on to tell us it was a $30 watch and wasn't worth the $28 repair. ""I've been repairing watches for 22 years and this is a cheap watch that was made in China"" So, basically, he was telling us that the watch wasn't worth the price of a battery and that he didn't need our business. So, we took our great watches and took our business elsewhere. It was just so strange that he was so abrasive and confrontational. Do yourself a favor and take your business to someone who appreciates it unless you enjoy angry abusive people.
