Robin Apartments is a great family owned business that helps struggling students like myself live in neighborhoods that are safe to walk home at night. I have a huge 1br with a sizeable living room, separate kitchen, and smallish bathroom--all utilities except electric and cable (heat is gas)=$600/mo which is fantastic for Rittenhouse Square. After living in other cities out East and paying way too much to live in crappy neighbourhoods, Robin Apartments was a godsend.
Pros: affordable housing in very safe neighbourhoods
Cons: Rude, clueless maintenance; very minimal, dated apartments.
