I was pregnant with my first child and was rushed to the ER for heavy bleeding. I was diagnosed with what they call a ""threatened miscarriage/poss. miscarriage"" and told me I HAD to go to my OB/GYN ...I called and asked to schedule an emergency appointment, and the receptionist was very rude and told me she didn't have any appointments. Shouldn't emergencies like this be an exception?
