I purchased a complete heating / ac system from Ballard in August 2006 for around $8500. I was guaranteed a 40% reduction in my energy usage relative to the furnace & ac. My actual usage has increased by roughly 60% over the past year and I have had significant difficulty in getting attention from anyone at Ballard, even after multiple calls and urgent requests for help. After I left many messages and many follow up calls, they did finally dispatch a technician to diagnose the problem, and he assured me that they would make good on their guarantee. He also stated that he would drop off a new supply of filters which I never saw. I have since had spotty contact with no real feeling of concern or urgency on their part. I would not recommend Ballard for the reasons stated above. Pros: Andrew, the initial technician was professional & seemed sincere Cons: Poor follow up. Lack of urgency to make good on their guarantee more
