Even though we have moved from Madison quite awhile ago, we still try to buy from Wild Child. My newborns all came home from the hospital sporting their "Wildest Child" outfits. Can't be more pleased with their products than I already am! Here's to another twenty five years.

After meeting with many other florists in town for my wedding, I felt very disappointed - prices were either way too high or they just didn't seem to have a passion for making my day extra special....but then, I went to Beauty Blossoms and left there simply thrilled. I was very well taken care of and had a great time... Beth immediately understood the look I was going for and came up with all sorts of ideas - that I loved - She went above and beyond my expectations - She was dedicated, detail oriented and made my life easier during the days leading up to the wedding...I would highly recommend Beauty Blossoms to anyone looking for a good wedding florist and for other arrangements - their customer service, designers and cutting edge ideas are a great asset to the Community...Thank you for making my wedding look so Fabulous!

The smell when you first walk in is amazing, they have the most unique soap bars (like eucalytpus and carrot) and all if not most are all natural organic products like Burt's Bee's and there's always a friendly person to help you especially when you want to make your own scent (which is possible here). Great place over all a bit more expensive than Bath and Body Works but worth the trip to find a great lasting and one of a kind bath or skin product

if you are looking for the best outdoors shop in madison, walk your chacos down by fontana. Some items are a little pricey, but the quality of the merchandise is more than enough to be worth it. This store is highly recommended especially for lovers of camping and backpacking.

A large selection of used books, CD's, Computer games, laser discs, LP's and any other rare collectables you would desire. A soothing atmosphere, they encourage browsing with a few comfortable chairs around the store. Most of my record collection has come from Frugal Muse. Very reasonable prices. They also buy used books and music. One of Madison's best.

The one-on-one attention you receive at Vera's is unsurpassed by anywhere else I've been! They do everything for you, from assist in selecting your entire ensemble and coordinating attendant dresses, to carrying everything out to the car for you. I found my gown at other salons in the Milwaukee/Chicago area, but they charged $100 (or more) for professional pressing: something that's free at Vera's.They even trained my maid of honor and mom how to dress me without messing up my makeup! I recommend Vera's to anyone looking for true professionals to work with on the most important day of their lives.

Bop is an utterly fabulous boutique in Madison, WI. They hit the major designers such as Vince, Marc by Marc, Juicy, Sevens, Anna Sui, Bing Bang, Dolce Vita, Ella Moss, Moschino Cheap and Chic, etc., but also carry a variety of pieces that are store exclusives. They usually have an excellent selection of highlights from each designer's season, focusing on the most happening looks du jour. I love shopping there and the Bop Girls are all stylish and extremely helpful by giving you their opinion once you emerge from the curtained dressing room. But seriously; no gawkers. It's so annoying to go in the store and try to shop when there are like fifty mangy girls with badly dyed hair wearing cheap imitation garb staring at you and whispering each time you pull another over-their-budget item for the dressing room. The Bop Girls are politely tolerant, but as a shopper, I can tell you right now how sad and embarrassing it is to watch some off the street girls shuffle around the store, touching everything, and then shuffling out without buying a thing and never intending to do so in the first place. I only try on to buy, and I would urge those without the money to shopbop just not to come in at all. Bop is a store for a certain clientele, and if you do not fit that demographic, it would be best for you to walk on by and over to Tiger Lily where you'd undoubtedly feel more at home.
