My husband and I love Messina Hof Winery. It was there 4 years ago at a corner table in November that he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the most romantic thing in the world!! The atmosphere and the owners, not to mention the staff are all so welcoming and want to make your stay there memorable. We stayed in the Villa and picked grapes as well as participated in the muder mystery dinner. All worth the time and money. We will visiting the vinyard soon for the annual picking. It was a great experience and we would HIGHLY recommend taking a day to see the winery and sign up for the wine tasting. When we have family visiting from PA we take them to the winery and they most definitely fall in love with the vinyard, the lake, the villas, etc. We are lucky that such a great place is so close to visit.
