I've owned several homes in the Johnson County area the last 15 yrs and always wind up contracting out a total landscaping renovation and installing a sprinkler system. I always consider many factors including professionalism, quality of work in portfolio/website, track record (references & testimonials & referrals), enthusiasm for my project, attention to detail, thouroughness, and the feeling the company rep gives me during our meetings before i settle on and chooes a contractor. I have to say that i was very impressed w/ Troy Karlin and his company, ALL-N-1 Landscape, out of Lawrence. At first I was skeptical b/c Troy looked so young when i first met him. However, after talking w/ him for an hour, he completely ""wowed"" me w/ his professionalism, knowledge, level of experience, thoroughness, the trustworthiness of his character, and his general enthusiasm for my project. I mean this kid put me at ease throughout the entire process. Then I wondered if he was just some smooth talking salesman so i checked for ALL-N-1 Landscape on the web and requested some references. They must have one of the best websites of any landscaping companies around KC. They also have all these glowing testimonials posted on their site. Troy called my right back and reminded me that he already gave me 2 reference lists (1 from Lawrence and 1 from KC) and when I looked back through his detailed proposal, they were both right there just like he said. And that's the thing, they weren't the cheapest by any means but they seemed to do EVERYTHING that they said they would. You just don't get that anymore these days. Unlike the other bigger companies around Johnson County, ALL-N-1 actually EXCEEDED my expectations from start to finish. I just want to let everyone know that ALL-N-1 is the real deal and that I highly recommend them. -Tim
