After meeting the Food and Beverage manager at Taste of the Nation in Utah,
I had to visit this place. When I asked my Portland friends to join me, they
were reluctant because the Heathman was an ""old"" place not the newest and
hippest happening. Well they were surprised and I was both pleased and impressed.
It reminded me that a newcomer will venture where locals fear to tread and not
to be swayed by the buzz.
