Last night I tried Picco for the third time with a group of friends. The first two times I had been frustrated with poor service and just ""ok"" food, but as my friends had had good experiences there, I agreed to go again. I won't make the mistake again. Twice now, my tiny $8.95 salad (ridiculous!) was drowning in dressing- and I like a lot of dressing. The Margherita pizza is bland. The service is consistently horrendous (slow, specifically- since they are usually friendly). I really wanted to like the place. I've been waiting for YEARS for a good pizza place to come to the South End. Unfortunately, this isn't it.
