Both the food and ambiance were good but not great. What stood out most was the service. Perhaps a list would be the most efficient way to communnicate our displeasure: 1) a bottle of wine we never ordered appeared on our check, for which we received a disingeniously mumbled ""sorry"", 2) the waiter brought us the list of wines by the glass but never came back to take our order, even when he snatched it off of the table as he went by, 3) the waiter looked at us like we had food on our chins when we asked for the sommelier, 4) he never smiled, or made any effort to make us feel comfortable, much less appreciated. Go to Trotters, it's worth the extra money. Pros: wine list, view, appetizers Cons: service, service, service more
