Not sure why they call it Grumpy's, because they always seem happy when I go there. Great biscuits and gravy, big fluffy pancakes and even good enchiladas and steaks, for your dinner. Right off I10, so you barely have to pull over for a great meal. The hotel next door is decent also. Not luxurious, but hey, you're in the middle of nowhere.
