As expected the university bookstore has most of the class textbooks but not always at the best price. I found several of my electrical engineering books cheaper online at various online retail brokers. Same edition and all. If you're willing to accept a used copy of a book to receive a discounted price I would still suggest you use online brokers. Especially do not try to sell your books back to them, they've offered less than what I have received at other book distributors who have come on campus to buy books. Other than that, the staff is knowledgeable about all the texts as much as they can be. If you're too lazy to do comparative shopping then I would suggest just dropping by the university store to pick up all your books in one stop. However, if you can get your class text lists before the first day I would spend some time checking out prices online.
