I love the fajitas and the margaritas. The atmosphere is fun, too, but the wait can be a little insane for the type of food it is.

The Border Cafe is a favorite on mine. The quessadillas are the best. Bring back the carne asade. It's the best! The drinks are great too. Terrific margaritas and the sangria is also amazing. The decor is great too. Very authentic. Expect to wait.

Bartley's Burgers have been shown in research to forestall decisions by those contemplating a bout with to vegetarianism. Come at the height of lunch, and you will
wait outside with the rest of the herd. You will want to squeeze isndie to read the menu -- it surrounds you on two sides with huge scale chalk letters.
Every burger is dubbed with a celebrity name, and it seems people I go with always choose that way as by the ingredients -- always too numerous to list or even help one make one's decision. Don't overlook the lemonade. It is the perfect implement to the over-sdized Bartley's' chow down.

Bartley's Burgers is a fine example of genuinely great food. I have gone there so many times, and have always left full and happy. This is a true example of Boston at it's finest, and is quick also (as long as you don't go on a Friday/Saturday night!) The oreo cookie milkshake's and the Mitt Romney Burger are both highly reccomended. It is truly a burger place though, plastic chairs and "communal" eating tables, a.k.a. tables pushed together, but that doesn't really make any difference in the quality of the food. If you're looking for a Burger, Mr. Bartley's is the place!

The food is consistently superlative, tasty without being too fancy, bold use of spice, always slightly on the edge.
What sends East Coast Grill over the top is the staff and the feeling of personal warmth in the restaurant.
Pros: Always leave feeling happy
Cons: Can be too crowded

Temple Bar is all that's left of Nick's Beef and Beer House. Those with memory can remember the 1/2 rroasted chicken and the pitchers of bar or root beer and the dark red lighting. What was a working class chicken and lamb place became an upscale alternative to Grafton's. The Temple bar is professionals, With perhaps a few professors and some mainstream white collar thrown in. There is some of the Boston bridge-and-tunnel feel, if that's not too much of a stretch. The acoustics are shrill but the decor is fine. You will be jammed into a crowds a little the way you want to be at the Temple Bar. No religion here -- just good times and good old boys.

Tom Berry is probably the most underrated chef in Boston. He's constantly varying the menu, consistently churning out food that you would get at 5 star restaurant at 1/2 the price. Temple Bar is a great place to go for any occasion, be it a date or out with a group of friends. Always a cool and fun vibe, with great food and drinks.
