Ok, so you are up for Japanese food but not up for the fake stuff at Nishino's? (Sorry, can't handle preppy sushi.)
Hiroshi's in Eastlake is a hidden gem and serves the real thing. The sushi is fresh, generous and delicious. The udon noodles are terrific. The saba we ordered was huge and not overcooked and so just right!
