We stayed at the Drama Inn for the Festival of Native Peoples in July . It is an older hotel, located right along the main drag of Cherokee. We were very pleased to be staying across the street from the festival grounds and the Cherokee Museum. There is a wonderful coffee shop across the parking lot. Our room was simple and clean. There is a rustic porch with rocking chairs that faces the Oconoluftee River.....really relaxing. The owners were very nice. It ain't fancy.....but it's fine. I would definitely stay there again.
