Fabulous consignments and new and consigned jewelry 3/10/2009

Maribel is a fabulous consignment store on Lakeshore in Oakland. I both consign my designer clothes there (Erika Tanov, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Loomstate, Mike and Chris, Souchi, Mayle) and buy from them too. Their clothes are well edited and in great condition. But the best part about this place is the jewerly - especially when they get a new order in. They have both consigned pieces and a new works mostly by local artists like M.E. Moore or MJM. And Anne (who owns the place) and Sophia (who manages it) are so stylish and nice to chat with that it makes the whole experience a great one. Check it out! Consignment Chic 4/7/2008

Unlike some consignment stores in the bay area you get really nice quality clothing and most of the time designer clothing ( Joe?s Jeans, Charlotte Ronson, 7 for All Mankind, Citizen?s of Humanity, Marc Jacobs, DVF etc) minus the factory damage, sweat stains, and funky smells.
