I don't know what any of these other reviews are talking about. I've been coming to this spa for years and I have never once had a problem with booking or rudeness on the part of ...

I received a SpaWish gift certificate and used it here to get my hair cut, but will definitely go back for a spa treatment. From the outside, this shop doesn't look like anything special. It's a glass-fronted window out onto street. As you walk further in, though, the atmosphere changes and you feel as though you are truly leaving the world behind. Victoria (I believe that's her name) was not only the receptionist that day, but also did my hair. She was awesome! Calm, relaxing and she knew how to get my hair to obey. In my photo with the backscratcher, that's the haircut. I loved it. It's close to my house, so I'm lucky that way as I don't have to fight for parking. That's a good thing as the parking on the streets nearby has to serve dozens of little shops/restaurants/bars as well as the locals.? more

Re: Massage with Erica 11/16/2009

Got a massage with Erica. She did a great job, mixing diff types of massage including reflexology. She didn't use a lot of pressure, but used some hot towels and other interesting techniques. She doesn't seem to be in that often because she's hard to get a hold of. I enjoyed the massage. (Yes, paid full price, if that makes a difference) more

Re: It was a good deal 11/5/2009

I was given a gift certificate for my birthday in March. I got a coupon from the Reader for new customers only. It was a good deal (choose any 3 services for only $150). So I got a Highlights, a Body wrap, & a full body massage. I had a verrrry good first time spa going experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. The only thing that I would complain about is that the sauna was too small and very uncomfortable. I'm 5'10" and there wasn't enough leg room in there, so I had to crouch down to feel semi-comfortable. Another thing was that the robes that they provided were like "one size fits all". One size does NOT FIT ALL. But other than those 2 things, I highly recommend this place, they provide great services in a friendly atmosphere more

I went to World Spa on my wedding day with my mom and matron-of-honor to get our hair and makeup done. I could not have asked for a better job, we all looked great! Getting married is so stressful, but while I was there at the spa I completely relaxed and came out of there feeling beautiful and ready to walk down the aisle. Thank you so much Victoria, for helping me on the most important day of my life. I will refer you to EVERYONE! more
