Excellent vinyl 1/16/2006

This is not the place to go to get the newest boy band CD. However, if you're looking to fill out your vinyl collection, this is one of the best places in San Diego to go. They have a huge selection of older records in great condition and even some newer ones. The employees seem to love working there and are very helpful. You can almost always find what you're looking for here and at a decent price. more

Off the Record is an original independent record store. They carry everything from vinyl to video. They sell new and used and also do buy back's. Any day is a good day at off the record, you are sure to find a prize record or album you have been looking for forever! Staff knows everything about every music, have a tune stuck in you head, they will be able to point you in the right directions. It's been years...but I wish they still had the SDSU location. more

Off the record is another local record store here in san diego. They carry everything from the newer vinyls to older more rare collectables. They also sell used records, so if you're on a budget, heres your chance to pick up some records to add to the collection. Weather you're a modern dj or just a plain old vinyl collector, you may want to check this store out to expand you arsenal. more

great place for music fans 8/15/2005

I'm personally not a big fan of vintage music, but I went there once with my friend who is and found the place very interesting. If you are looking for rare vinyls and cds this is the place to go. Off the Record has a lot of music by independent artists, from small-label rock and punk bands to hip-hop. more
