This hotel is right by the bay and you can see the water from your room if it is facing on the right side. The price is affordable and there are a lot more

This hotel is very conveniently located across from Sea World in San Diego. The rooms are a little cramped (two adults and two small children) but nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The prices are reasonable for the area. more

We love staying at the Dana. I recommend staying in the newer section which has great views of the bay. The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful. They offer a free shuttle to Sea World too. more

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights during a recent trip. We asked for a 2nd floor, pool view room. When we checked in I noticed that we were on the 1st floor. I was a bit disappointed, until we got to the room. The hotel had upgraded us to a great room with a semi-private patio. The room was very clean, with gorgeous decor and colors. The pool was just outside our room, and we enjoyed ordering food from the poolside restaurant phone. Our patio came in handy for those meals. Plus, they have arts and crafts activities poolside for the kids, and a sand play area with toys. At night, we walked to the marina area just outside the hotel to watch the fireworks from SeaWorld. I wish we could have stayed longer. more

Our family went to spend 2 nights at Dana Inn last November. We booked 2 rooms with bay view with breakfast through expedia.com. We got a great deal!! I loved our rooms. They're clean and comfortable with a nice view. The hotel has 3 restaurants. In the morning you can take a walk by the bay or even take a walk to the Seaworld. We also enjoyed their swimming pool and jazucci. The location is quiet and convenient to other restaurants/ hotels. Unfortunately, the fitness room was bad. It was really really small, no drinking water provided, one out of the 2 machines was out of order. more

Beautiful hotel, we had a wonderful stay. However, the whole time we felt like something was missing that we couldn't put a finger on. Our room was tiny. Not unexepected, we didn't stay in the brand new portion. The bathroom was even smaller. The amenities were fabulous, the pools and jaccuzzis received tons of attention. We also ate at the Blue Pearl, part of the hotel. Food was good, service was ok. Service for our room was a bit annoying. Our first night we used the Do not Disturb sign only to have our door knocked on multiple times. The next time we used it, we received a phone call asking about housecleaning.
