I can't say enough good things about the W hotel brand. Its always so consistent, with only the best amenities. I always feel welcomed by the staff, the rooms are luxurios with the best decor , and the beds are amazing. Would recommend this place every time. Its not the best value , and the prices are expensive, but the quality is the best.

I met clients on the rooftop deck and bar. it was so surprising to enter this old historic building and see everything sleek, modern, cool. The sun was shining, and we sat by the pool with tender calamari appetizers and lovely exotic bottled water.

I was here in September 2007 for a conference and brought my family with me. Since I have three young children, I loved that the hotel was across the street from the San Diego airport-it was very easy to get to and from the hotel from the airport. It honestly didn't feel like we were across from the airport in that the hotel is also nestled in a harbor. Our room was nice and was very clean. There was a small balcony with a couple of patio chairs and a small table. The hotel itself was modern and clean. There is a good restaurant there and also a coffee bar. The pool was also nice as was the exercise facility. The hotel is in good proximity to Horton Plaza as well as some other San Diego attractions. I honestly can not say if the hotel is a good value b/c my employer paid for the hotel and I don't recall how expensive it was (I *think* our conference rate was $159/night). If I am in the area, I would definitely stay there again.

Spent the weekend in San Diego last weekend. Stayed at the this new hotel called the Keating. The ambiance, feel and look was very unique. The room had flat screens and an amazing bed. Felt like i was sleeping on a cloud. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who likes modern design and nice new hotel. It felt like i was in my own apartment. They had digital cable on the TV, not like a normal hotel TV system with limited or basic cable. Very cool. Really excited. Will stay there everytime i go down to San Diego. Highly Recommended! Plus you feel like you own a ferrari when your there.

My husband and I stayed at Humphrey's on our wedding night. The room was really nice - very large and felt pretty secluded even though it was in the middle of the property. My friend decorated the room just before we arrived with candles and rose petals so when we arrived we were totally overhelmed. Check-in was easy (even in a swishy wedding dress) and so was check-out. We only stayed that night and didn't utilize all of the amenities they have to offer, so I can't comment on that.
My boss has stayed at the hotel after seeing concerts at Humphrey's and really enjoyed it as well. No complaints - plenty of accolades.

Built in 1966, this Polynesian Hotel sits right next to the 8 freeway. Tons o Tiki to be found here, to many for me to count. Having 2 restaurants, Sushi Bar and a lounge. The Islands restaurant is located next to the lobby and is a Tiki haven. With Tiki's from the famous Outrigger and The Luau finding sanctuary here. A huge Moai serves as the lifeguard, sitting next to the swimming pool. Great location, literally minutes from the Zoo, Old Town, the beach, Shelter Island and Sea World.
