This guy's sexually harassed both my girlfriend and her friends on numerous occasions. He frequently addresses to females as baby and tends to compliment various body parts of the female anatomy. He's freely used the terms p*nis, p*ssy and a**hole in the past. We first took it as a joke and laughed it off, that and also that we had built a rapport with him over time, but the humor of it soon wore away and we're now resorting to other nearby liquor stores because of it. The other guys working at the place are really cool, there's another younger Sikh employee working there during the daytime who's really cool, don't mistake him for the older Sikh who works there in the evening. There's also another gentleman assisting the older Sikh at night time during the weekdays, he's also really cool, too. He normally wears a baseball cap and has a mustache. We feel stupid for not having taken initiative on this matter sooner so that it wouldn't have gotten this bad. The food and beverage selection is alright, they have a one dollar charge on ATM & credit card transactions, so have your cash handy to avoid that. And like the other reviewer mentioned, keep your eye on the how much you get charged, this again is in reference to the older Sikh employee working there at nights. I've caught him overcharging me on a few occasions. more

Silversun liquor is a little mini-market on Silver Lake Blvd & Sunset (hence the name). They have a standard selection of liqour, beer and inexpensive wine, nothing particularly great here--well, there is a bottle of Dom on the top shelf--but you can something potable at least. They also carry canned goods, toilet items, dairy and the like. Some of the items on the shelf give the appearance of having been there too long. Beware, though; the people at the register don't seem too scrupulous. I've had several occasions where they tried to overcharge me. They like to do this thing where they will type in a product at the after tax amount and then tax it again. So I can't recommend it, except that it is open pretty late. more
