I LOVE "Gaby's Express" on Washington Blvd. I can't tell you how happy I am that I finally decided to stop by this place a couple months ago and now I order lunch from there practically every day. The salads are so fresh and crisp. My favorite is "Leon's Fattoush Salad". The chicken is delicious and so reasonably priced for everything that comes with it including rice, salad and hummus. The service is good. They are usually busy so I like to call in my order in advance. I don't eat red meat so I can't vouch for the shawerma but the falafel is great and all their appetizers (at least most that I have tried) are priced well and quite good. This is my favorite place for lunch. I hope they never move as they are so close to my work.
Pros: Excellent healthy food
Cons: Can be a bit too busy depending on the time you go but I would not let that stop me

We've been here a couple of times and we've always liked it. We went again last night. The food does not disappoint -- particularly the lentils. The service is friendly, albeit a bit slow at times. We'll definitely go back. The only thing to warn about is some of the lower tables in the center of the restaurant have proportionally low chairs, which may be uncomfortable for people with back problems.
Pros: Great food, good prices
Cons: Slightly slow service, low tables in the middle of the restaurant

We want them back in Silverlake! This is an excellent restaurant. Fine food, gorgeous decor. We have been going there for years fearful that the quality would eventually drop, but it has not. Au contraire.
Pros: Great Food
Cons: Odd neighborhood

We had 8 people in our party and ordered a ton of food. Imagine our surprise when our bill was only $50. The food here is amazingly good and the prices are obviously better.

WOW! All of the senses are aroused in this best-kept Westside secret locale. Luxurious tapestry hangs from the ceiling above platform sofas peppered with colorful, textured pillows in the bar and lounge areas, where a belly dancer entertains a diverse crowd on Friday and Saturday nights. The soft ethnic music compliments the aromatic Moroccan spices and array of creative cocktails served up by the friendly staff in traditional attire. Owner Michel Ohayon greets diners in French, Italian, Arabic and Hebrew and escorts them to cozy booths for not just a meal, but a cultural journey. Excellent for drinks, dates or groups, this place is an absolute gem!
Pros: a unique and delicious experience

This is an awesome place! It's morrocan. You sit on pillows at low tables and they bring you your courses one at a time. Food is DELICIOUS!!! It's really fun when the belly dancers come by and make you dance with them.

I have been a patron of the Moun of Tunis for 30 years. I am a chef, so when I go out to eat my expectations are very high. The Moun of Tunis consistently dazzles me with their amazing food and the panache with which they present the fare. I especially love the bastilla and the lemon chicken, both dishes which I have tried to replicate over the years with mixed results. Expect to spend a few hours dining-you don't go to the Moun of Tunis to eat, you dine, lose your tie, loosen your belt, and allow yourself to be seduced by the magic of this wonderful restaurant. I also highly recommend this site for a romantic date. The atmosphere is very conducive to cuddling and sharing food.
Pros: charming, great food, great service
Cons: not good for kids, republicans, or people in a hurry
