Buca Di Beppo

I visited Buca di Beppo a year ago with friends. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was nearly deserted when we arrived, but we were pleasantly greeted as if they had been waiting just for us. We were given the tour of the kitchen, and seated at a table. The decor and the music are a treat for the senses. The waiter spoke to us about the restaurant, gave us an explanation of the food and specials, and answered any questions we had. The food was absolutely delicious, and the waiter was friendly and very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed ever minute of our lunch at Buca di Beppo. more

Buca di Beppo, is an Italian restaurant that offers “family style meals”. The portions are generally big enough to share with two or more people. This was the main reason our group of five decide to try the restaurant. The hostess parades you through the kitchen before taking you to your table. They do have a booth that is available for dining in the kitchen. However it is usually booked and you need to call ahead to reserve it. Our service was HORRIBLE which surprised us as the restaurant was pretty empty and all the patrons in our area had already been served. We stuffed ourselves with several bread baskets as we waited over 20 minutes before the salads were served. The sauces were loaded with tons of fresh garlic. In my opinion, its overpriced pasta dishes loaded with tons of Fresh Raw Garlic. more
