I would also like to respond to the nasty comment about "people of color beware!" I have been into the lucky exchange multiple times bringing in my clothes, i am a women of color too and i have never had a problem. There workers are respectful and say a hello when you come in. I'm highly doubt that it only took them 30 seconds to look at your clothes im sure the worker took time into looking at them. Sometimes it does not matter whether the clother are designer or not it depends if the shop is full at the time or your clothes just so happen not to work so well with the store. I'm pretty sure none of this had to do with the color of your skin! try not to take it personal, did you ever think it was maybe the clothes you brought in?

I started shopping here in the mid-seventies, when the retro look starting sweeping through the disco's. Why would I want to walk into Backstreet, and look like everyone else. I love the looks of the 40's & 50's the best. For quality vintage Cuban, Bowling, and Elvis shirts, Stefan's can't be beat. Every once in awhile even today, I pull out one of my treasured shirts, and everybody wants to know where I bought it. I will never tell. I'm just going to Rock Around The Clock again tonight!
Pros: Unique Vintage Clothing & Accessories!
Cons: Parking could be a problem, if driving!

I have shopped this boutique several times in the past 10 years and have always had a good experience. I am writing a review this time because I had a great experience.
I left with a Vera Wang dress/bag/shoes/necklace and earrings to wear for a black-tie dinner at the Whitehouse in May. I shopped at one store and only spent $300.00. The advice I got was worth more but it was free.
Pros: helpful staff, great styles
Cons: some brands still pricey

This is the best vintage clothing store I have ever been in. The selection of cool shirts, boots and vintage t-shirts is amazing. There are probably 2000 t's to choose from. the sales people are really friendly and seem to know every peice in the store which is a nice change of pace from other vintage stores. I'll be a customer for life.

I discovered this bookstore about 20 years ago, and I fell in love with it. They have a large selection of books and there are always new titles to choose from. The staff and the owners are polite and helpful. It is a relaxed atmosphere and browsing is always great fun. You will not be disappointed.

It's true....if you love digging through stuff to find treasures, this place is for you. Some of the aisles between shelves are so narrow, you have to walk sideways! But it's totally worth it if you like resale/thrift stores and flea markets. This place is a great mix between the two.
One suggestion: If you are traveling to the Atlanta area from other areas, definitely allow yourself plenty of time at this spot. It is UNVBELIEVABLE how many aisles there are, and if you're like me, you want to make sure you cover every single one!
Pros: The variety of stuff you'll find...old and new
Cons: Not the best customer service I've ever seen, but don't let that discourage you!!!

There is always something new at this unique shop/warehouse. Love the accessories recently introduced for the holidays. Great design inspiration and friendly folks to give you a guided tour of the space and wares. Neighborhood is changing on a dime - good food, shopping, convenient to all areas of town. A must see for folks who like the unusual and hard-to-find.

Love this location and the store. Everyone is always so friendly when I go. It's like having your own personal shopper. It's also one of the closest locations to my house, which is perfect. The only problem is that my husband doesn't like how close it is!
