This isn't your five star snooty sushi bar. The food is fun and the menu is stacked with options, I especially like the Banana Boat and Godzilla rolls. The entertaining staff and music is half the fun. if you are in Atlanta and want sushi this is the place that you have to check out. it is not the fanciest place you will ever eat but it has all the heart and soul. the music is pumping all the time, and the staff is funny. the staff will drink with you as well so that makes the place even mroe fun. can you say saki bomb? the sushi is still really good and i concider this a good spot to go before a night out or just to get a good meal. just don't try and relax there. the prices are great too.

If you're looking for Japanese food, Ru San's is not the place to go. I had heard about the place because it's popular with many Emory students, but the first time I stepped in the place, I knew it wasn't going to be Japanese food that was served that night. First of all, the atmosphere is nothing resembling a real sushi bar. Bright yellow colors, loud music blaring from the speakers, a little too trendy for my tastes. And then, the sushi. The rice was rubbery and the filling definitely was not fresh. Many of the items on the menu were a result of fusion of sushi with some other sort of cuisine, and while that is acceptable, the quality of the sushi was down right horrible, fusion or no fusion. If you're just looking to do sake bombs though, I hear it's the place to go.

Ru San's is my favorite sushi place. They have a great atmosphere either in their Midtown or Buckhead locations. It is always a fun time whenever I go, especially when sake bombs are involved. They have a special $1 menu, where you can get 3 pieces of various sushi for $1. I stick to that menu and order up a storm and always leave full and satisfied. Ru San's is an amazing place, go check it out for a great time.

If you love sushi and you're on a budget then this is the perfect place for you. Ru San's offers a larger selection of sushi rolls in addition to other japaneese food. Those who are vegetarian don't have to worry about not having anything on the menu for them. The atmosphere is loud and vibrant, so if you're looking for a quiet place to eat this place is not for you. Great to go to before going out to the bars or clubs because it gets you in the mood. They have several locations throughout the city, this is just one of them. This is a great place to go to with friends and just have a beer and a little bit of sushi.

I think Ru San's offers the best sushi values in Atlanta. Every time I go there for dinner there is a line, but the staff is friendly and the location is good. I really love their tempura sauce and eel rolls. They have a very large menu with good variety. The restaurant is always loud and there is always a lot of movement, but the sushi is great and the prices are phenomenal.
