As a relative of mine came home for a visit, knowing the area very well, he dragged me to a small "hole in the wall" restaurant named Teaspace located in the heart of Little Five Points. As I walked in the door I noticed the Asian-Western patterns on the walls, along with the funky furniture designs. As I browsed over the menu I was caught by it's lack of meat, and abundance of vegetables, tofu, and pasta noodles. Not being a huge fan of tofu, I decided to order Potato Gnochi served with Truffle Butter and cooked in Asian Noodles with a White Wine Sauce. The food was pleasing and was a little different then what I was used to, but change is good in my eyes. For dessert we each ordered a frozen strawberry daqueri with an Asian twist, including sake and an assortment of asian fruits. I'd recommend this restaurant to more of the indie type, as this restaurant is mostly catering to them.
