Good personal attention and well-trained staff. Not joining into the "faddish" aspects of some yoga studios. Gently encouraging but not pushy.

In ShortIt's a simple set-up, just two studios separated by a movable wall, located in a historic building near the old Durham Bulls ballpark. You won't have to share the building with sweating, grunting iron-pumpers. Or push the stairmasters aside to make room for your mat. They range from the gentle (restorative poses) to the more demanding. Enroll in kripalu, iyengar, hatha, kali ray tri yoga or ashtanga--a fluid series of poses that, when done in their entirety, can take two hours. If you're a beginner, start with level one for any class.
