Located in the heart of Mission Hills, on Washington just West of Goldfinch, and they have parking! I discovered this salon a few years ago when a nearby stylist was unavailable for my appointment. I walked in and Darlene Wainscott was willing to cut my hair without an appointment. She has since cut my hair a number of times, and become a friend. Every time I get compliments on my haircut. She even helped me through the 'trama' of going from long to short when I donated ponytails to an organization that makes wigs for cancer patients. She listens, suggests, cares. If I ever have my hair colored, she is the person I will go to -- an expert colorist, she even trains others stylists.
