As others have said, the monthly statement is a nice touch. I’ve been a renter with utopia since September and have had no issues with them. When i was in the office to sign the lease everyone was very nice and professional. i like that they are a legitimate office with actual staff who will call you back/answer questions, etc. i know people who rent their condo out through utopia and they haven’t had any issues either. more

When i was in the office to sign the lease everyone was very nice and professional. i like that they are a legitimate office with actual staff who will call you back/answer questions, etc. i know people who rent their condo out through utopia and they haven’t had any issues either.\r more

I have rented from Utopia 3/13/2014

I have rented from Utopia since May and have had no problems at all. I love that they send you a monthly statement, so you never forget that you need to pay your rent.....which happens from time to time when life gets busy! more

I have been renting 3/4/2014

I have been renting from utopia since Oct. and so far there has been no problems. They have really nice people helping you. and i have never had a problem with payments because they send you reminders. And when you leave a voicemail they actually call you back and they get back at you really quick. more

Utopia Management has been great so far. They helped immediately fixing leaks, etc. and worked with our schedule to get it done. The Staff is always friendly and willing to help with any issues that arise. I would recommend them to anyone! Great Job!!\r more

I moved into an apartment in October and Utopia made the process quite simple. There was a leak in the shower and Utopia made sure the leak was fixed. Compared to the property managements I have rented with, Utopia has only been the one to make sure an issue was resolved. So far... great experience.\r more

RUN AWAY .... FAR AWAY! Do NOT use Utopia! My husband and I used Utopia for two properties in San Diego while we were stationed I Europe. All went fine at first ... then we started being charged for maintance done in-house by Utopia personnel which was actually covered by our American Home Shield (AHS) policies. Between the two properties over 5 years - we were charged over $30K for maintance on items which were covered by AHS. We decided to sell one property -- Utopia managed to lose the garage door openers (two each on the two properties - they charged us to replace them even though the tenants had turned them into Utopia as part of the checkout process) , lost money I sent in for repairs they coordinated for me to make the property market-ready (even though the check had Utopia's stamp on it), we paid them to dispose of a hot-tub, they took the money but left the tub (the gazebo surrounding the hot-tub was disposed of instead) and many more problems. Over a year after we sold the home we finally got the $6000 back we had to deposit with them to manage the property and they had the gall to charge me $900 to stop using their services on the house even though we notified them when the tenants left that we were putting the house on the market. Took nearly as long to get the deposit back on the other property after we transferred it to another management company. We ended up having to get a lawyer to write a letter on our behalf to get the money returned ... and they charged us the monthly management fees the entire time!!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! TOTAL RIP-OFF!! more

Excellent service 10/6/2013

Armando Zapien came over today - Sunday- to address an urgent issue. He was very thorough, professional and efficient. When it became clear that the issue requires a specialized approach, Armando explained to us, in a straight forward manner, what to expect in the following days. While we are in the middle of a very inconvenient event, receiving prompt, professional service made an enormous difference. Great job Armando! more

Another water leak! 9/8/2013

Talk about water leaks! Just two days ago we had the dry wall fixed from a pipe leak a few weeks ago, and now we have another one! Armando Zapien came out and fixed this one for us! He is so kind and professional. He really helps us to feel better in a frustrating situation! He and Victor have been life savers! more

Tammy Palmer is awesome!! 2/7/2013

The staff at Utopia Management impressed me with their professionalism right from the start. They are a really a hard working management company, and I have been very happy with all of their efforts. I recently had issues paying our rent online through utopiamanagement.com, and as a result, my rent payment was going to be late. (I was having trouble with the registering process) I called Utopia that same day (the 5th) and was transferred to Tammy. There was no answer, so I left her a voicemail. The next day I called again, then I was able to speak to her. I explained my situation to her and she was able to waive the late fee we were going to receive (since I was finally able to make our payment, on the 6th though...1 DAY LATE). She was a very nice, kind, friendly, and patient lady. She helped me out without hestitating. I have never met her in person, but if you ever have any questions or concerns regarding your bill statement, she s the perfect person who can help you out! Thanks Tammy Palmer for your service, I greatly appreciate it!! :D more

Leak 1/25/2013

I had a leak that was on my storage unit and water was every where. Utopia management had someone out within hours to diagnose the problem. Next day 2 men Armando Zapien and Victor Baez came and stayed almost 8 hrs in order to fix the problem and turn my hot water back on. The guys work diligently and kept me updated. I appreciate their hard work. more

My recent interaction with Utopia Management has been exceptional. Particularly with Tammy Palmer in billing. She has been amazing with the information and guidance through our first few months of Utopia managment. Always readily available and very down to earth. I'm confident she does her job with a smile on her face and always leaves my family feeling they had a positive experience. We look forward to many years with Utopia and Tammy.
