This is the absolute biggest joke of positive reviews I've ever seen. This company is a rip off and I'm shocked Dave Ramsey would put his name anywhere close to the shady people at TCA. They completely ruined my transmission after paying $862 for inspection after being quoted $1200 to 1500 "worst case scenario " which didn't include labor. Prices for used and rebuilt are higher than brand new transmission from dealership. I truly feel these ladies pay their bills strictly by lying to get people to agree to internal inspectionstorage and holding cars hostage.... $862 is better than nothing I suppose. They also delete and block negative comments. Go figure! They may have gotten $862 and caused me to pay $1000 extra for broken pieces but I will be sure they lose more than they stole from me and others. more

I took my truck over to the guys at Transmission Corporation of America and they did a great job fixing it up. I was really happy with them because they gave me an estimate for how long it would take and they were actually done sooner than the estimate. My truck was running great, but they made sure I came back for a follow-up appointment which I did and they confirmed that everything was working properly which I appreciated. My truck is still running great but if I have any problems in the future I will definitely bring it back to these guys! more

Transmission Corporation of America took the automatic transmission out of our vehicle and put in a manual transmission. They did it cheaper than they originally thought; it was extremely cheap compared to what they had to do. They did a great job and any time we have an issue with it, we bring it back to them and they fix it. Their customer service is amazing. Both of the people at the front desk- Ms. Angel and Julie- were just great. They were pretty easy to get a hold of; you could even text them. They came out on a weekend when they were off in another town to bring the keys over to us. They were very easy to work with, they let us know what was going on, and they were very knowledgeable. I was impressed when I started rattling off which transmissions we were looking at and why we wanted that one, and they totally got it. They did a great job with the whole process; it was great that we didn't have any issues and everything was just seamless. We had never used them before, but we researched online and they had great reviews, so that's where we went. When I called and told them what we were looking at doing, they were the easiest to talk to and seemed to be the most knowledgeable. more

The transmission on my Jeep Wrangler went out five times and Transmission Corporation of America fixed it every time. I ended up taking the automatic out, and I'm in the process of putting a stick shift in. I've been going to them for a year now. Julie and the staff there is good. They were very responsive and it is easy to get an appointment--it's just the ownership I don't care for. They thought there were computer problems on my truck, so I bought a new computer. It wasn't the computer that was the problem, but now I can't get my money back for it. They do excellent work, and they are friendly and go out of their way to help you. They tried to help, but the ownership wouldn't refund my money. more

They are awesome. Julie helped me understand what was going on with my car. She kept me informed with my cars progress at all times and she was excellent. I love love love them. more

This company not only does great work but within budget and it's great that they send you a personal card thanking you for the service. You're not just a customer, your like family. I had a car at Transmission Corporation of America for a significant amount of service--with repairs close to $5,000. I worked with Angel briefly, then the staff quite a bit. They've helped me save money here and there and they are good at getting the repairs done quickly. I haven't experienced their type of customer service and willingness to go above and beyond in a long time, and it is refreshing. They call me back with updates and also volunteered to come over and meet the tow truck driver after hours, because the tow company doesn't take payments over the phone and I am in another state. They met the tow truck driver during normal business hours, gave him a check and then charged me for what they paid the tow truck driver. They are very good and friendly. more

I took my car to Transmission Corporation of America to have a transmission rehaul and everything turned out good. It took them two days to complete the job and my transmission is running smoothly. Angel was great as a mechanic and Julie at the front desk was very professional and friendly. I'm very happy with my experience and I'll be returning if I ever need any repairs. more

I HAD GREAT SERVICE ON BOTH OF MY CARS. MY CAR WAS REPAIRED ON TIME AND BELOW THE ESTIMATE THAT WAS FIRST GIVEN TO ME. MY DAUGHTERS CAR WAS MUCH CHEAPER THAN THE OTHER PLACES THAT I CALLED FOR REPAIRS. I'M SO HAPPY TO RECOMMEND TRANSMISSION CORPORATION TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. more

First time i went to transmission of america i was introduced by a sweet woman angel an also wendy. Got a full diagnostic on my car an they fixed it properly an helped me afford the costes to the car with other help that they new!! I love this place an would recommend this place to anyone.. They diagnosed a problem I was having the first time I was in when I ended up being tight on cash and couldn't afford to have the whole transmission rebuilt. I went and purchased a used transmission and they only charged me for the labor. It started leaking after 5 or 6 days and it turned out to be the torque seal in the used transmission. They inspected the transmission and inspected it diligently to my time needs. I was getting ready to have an operation on my neck and had to leave town soon after this work, and they were able to fix my car in time. more
