ONLY Place TO GO!!! 10/11/2009

I have both a Imagine Serger and Craft Sewing Machine from Babylock. I live in Clarkston, WA, and I will ONLY go to Totem Lake for service on either of my machines. They do an awesome job and turn around time is quick -- price VERY reasonable. We have a place in Lewiston ID that ""says"" they repair Babylock machines and service -- I tried them once and will NEVER return as after three weeks they had not replaced the simple little part I needed. I called Kristen and she sent me the part and I put it on....all at NO CHARGE! They know EXACTLY what the machine parts are -- I feel blessed to have found them some 350 miles from my home. My advice -- don't shop around -- just go there because they do it all and do it all well. God Bless. Pros: Best Service on Machines Cons: Hard for me to find....Map Quest great help more

Ultimate in Customer Service 8/10/2009

Bob, Ruth and Kristin do care about the customers who walk through their door. The Babylock machines are excellent and they know them inside out. I have shopped at Totem Lake Sewing for over 15 years and I have always received excellent response to any question. Thank you Totem Lake Sewing Pros: They care about the customer first and foremost Cons: I can't take Kristin home w/me to answer all my questions. more

They're the BEST 7/14/2009

I've been sewing since I was 12, on all sorts of machines, and I've become a Babylock convert, thanks to Bob, Ruth, and especially Kristin! Their customer service is wonderful, and their patience with customers seems to be infinite. I've bought way too many machines from Totem Lake Sewing, but I don't regret any of them--I've even sent friends and family to Kris, and their experiences have been the same as mine--courtesy, friendliness, patience and knowledge seem to be the motto of this store. And their prices are the best in the area!!! Pros: The best customer service ever Cons: They aren't next door to me! more

Great if you like being brushed off 6/5/2008

I went here because years ago I went in with a friend and the service was really great, but today not so much. I understand that you have customers and it's a small store but it would have taken you literally 10 seconds tops to actually look at something so you could get a better idea of what I was looking for. Instead when I came in you did politely tell me to wait a second and then asked me what price range. Not only did I come prepared with price range but also had already done research online and took my laptop along with me with some tabs open to the ones I was thinking of in general. Both ladies there were with customers which I fully understand and was patient wanting to look around but once I started doing that she just asked for my name and number to 'call her dad and ask him' a little disappointing but then when I went to just show her the machine I had in mind she declined and all but pushed me out the door. Again would have taken 10 seconds to look at a picture and get a better idea to ""tell you daddy"" what I'm looking for instead I felt very just brushed off. I normally don't write bad reviews but that lady made me feel very ""unworthy"" so boo to her I'll find another store. more

these ladies are the queens of machines. 11/28/2006

I bought my serger here a few years ago. They offer 2-year service on everything they sell, and they can get most people financed--even me, when i had no credit. Kristin is amazing--she eats, sleeps, and breathes sewing machines and can tell you everything you need to know and more about how they work and what they can do for you. I am so inspired to take my creations to the next level that i wanted to recommend this store. They sell vacuums too, by the way, but i don't find them nearly as fun as sewing machines. If you want a great deal on a new or used machine and want to buy one from someone who KNOWS what they're talking about, buy it here. Pros: The customer service is top-notch and you will feel like royalty when you ask for a demonstration. Cons: Kristin is so busy that sometimes you have to wait a while to talk with her when she's with another customer, but see ""pros"" more
