The Jungle

I took my 2 year old son to the Jungle, they do have a play area set aside for Toddlers but it honestly wasn't all that interesting to him, it was small and had a ball pit and a few things to climb on. What really interested him was the larger (3 or 4 levels?) structure for older children. He was playing on the outskirts of it but slipped through some large pieces of foam and got stuck in the larger structure. He was too small to climb out and I was too big to go in after him (it isn't designed for adults). It was very scary because I couldn't see him and he was crying. Thankfully it wasn't too crowded and my very skinny friend was able to go in and find him. So I think this is better for the older crowd (or the really young crowd, the 12 month olds seems to love the toddler area). more

Pizza? Check! Arcade Games? Check! This is a much more active place for children than Chuck E. Cheese, though. It seems a lot bigger too. It has a Jumpy house and a toddler area, but it also has places to climb and mazes to maneuver. There is an admission price, unlike Chuck E Cheese. But adults are free! There are also deals to be had (Toddler Tuesday is $3.48 all day for Toddlers) - if I recall correctly, there are coin operated rides near the toddler area and my daughter spent hours on Toddler Tuesday on a Merry-Go-Round. The food menu is a bit more expansive than you might expect, which is not to say healthier. You can also throw birthday parties here. more
